A question about one of the five tours, a correction to something on this site, or an enquiry from an operator: write to [email protected] and I will reply, usually within a few days. I read everything, including the emails from people who drove out to the Isle of Hope expecting a mansion.
Before you write
I am one person with a website, not a booking desk, so there are three things I genuinely cannot do. I cannot change, refund or cancel a tour booking — that is GetYourGuide, through the confirmation email they sent you. I cannot sell you state admission or reserve you a parking space: Wormsloe is run by Georgia State Parks and its current prices and hours live at gastateparks.org, summarised for planning at tickets and prices and opening hours. And I cannot get anyone inside Wormsloe House, which is a private family residence and has never been open — the house page explains that properly.
What I am useful for
Which tour fits your party, whether to book one at all, and the questions the brochures answer vaguely — how early to arrive, how long the avenue and the ruins really take, what there is to eat out there. Most of it is already written: start with all tours and the reviews, or go straight to how to get there if the question is the drive. Corrections are the emails I like best — state prices and hours move, and I would rather hear about a stale line from you than leave it standing.
Where this is written from
The Isle of Hope, about 8 miles southeast of downtown Savannah and ten minutes from the Wormsloe gate: Isle of Hope on Google Maps. The site itself is at 7601 Skidaway Road, and the official listing, which is not this one, is published by Georgia State Parks.
