Affiliate disclosure

Wormsloe Historic Site Tickets takes part in the GetYourGuide affiliate programme. Book a tour through a link on this site and I may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. Admission to Wormsloe itself is sold by Georgia State Parks and earns this site nothing at all.

What it means in practice

The booking links and availability widgets here go to GetYourGuide, a licensed online travel agency. If you book after following one, GetYourGuide pays me a percentage of what you spent, out of their margin rather than your pocket — you pay exactly what you would have paid going to them directly. Prices printed on this site are the “from” figures GetYourGuide displayed at the time of writing, and the widget beside them re-prices by date and season. State gate admission is a separate transaction entirely, at the prices the state sets.

What it does not mean

It does not buy a recommendation, and the shape of this site is the evidence. The advice repeated most often here is that four of the five tours I list never go to Wormsloe, that most readers with a car should drive themselves and buy a state ticket I earn nothing from, and that there is no plantation house waiting at the end of the avenue. None of that is how advertising works. Where a tour’s review pool is thin or its own customers file a complaint, the review says so: the private tour review repeats its six-review base in every section, the trolley review carries both recurring gripes in full, and the prices page weighs every tour against doing the day yourself.

What I am not

Not Georgia State Parks, not a tour operator, and not GetYourGuide. Official admission figures and hours are published at gastateparks.org, and wherever one appears on this site it is attributed there and dated to the time of writing, because the state changes them. I never name the operator company behind a tour, I name guides only where reviewers named them first, and reviewer quotes at the reviews hub are verbatim or trimmed at sentence boundaries, never rewritten.
